I’m going to twist your mind a little bit. Is that okay? Would ya mind? No? Great. Thank you… So… We know there’s a lot going on with the border wall and deportation and this and that… I know. And I could be mistaken but it does seem like there’s a disproportionate amount of violent crime that comes from immigrants as opposed to those who’ve lived here all their life. Correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t mind being wrong. If I’m wrong, you need to correct me. That’s how people learn.

So perhaps I’ve been misled, but it appears a lot of our crime, especially violent crime, happens at the hands of immigrants. When I say immigrants, that doesn’t mean “Mexicans”. There are all kinds of immigrants in this country. That’s what America has been about since, like, ten years ago. (:p) Anyway… So one area where we have a lot of immigration – especially illegal immigration – is Mexico. I mean – who can blame them? Ya just walk over the border. It’s easy. So there’s an obvious push to stop people flooding in from Mexico. Our way of life is very different here and it takes a lot of learning and experience to assimilate into our culture and way of life. It’s challenging for any immigrant.

But let’s focus on Mexicans for the time being… And let me change the story for a minute. Just a minute!

You may or may not see it the same as I do – but I feel there’s something of a war against Christianity going on in this country. Nobody wants to talk about God anymore. I’m not the most religious person on Earth – and I’m not exactly a follower of any specific religion. I do believe there’s a God – but I don’t believe ANY human has EVER had any information about God, his Son, family – or whatever… I’m Agnostic. I live my life as best as I can – I’m good to people – I treat everyone with respect. Not because I think that’s what’s going to get me through the pearly white gates of Heaven (:p) – but it’s the right way to be. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Anyway, so there appears to be a war going on against Christianity. For a while there, nobody would mention Christmas anymore. The last time I had a job, it was at an American Express travel company – and nobody was allowed to wish anyone a “Merry Christmas”. I think this was mostly intended as a “phone” instruction. But that’s the way things were going. I haven’t been in a “Target” store in a while – but do they say anything about Christmas these days? The Menorah is all over the place. There’s nothing wrong with that – but where’s the Nativity Scene?

This year I’m seeing “Christmas” being mentioned by the television news stations. Not that I ever watch that CRAP – but it’s all over the TV screens at my gym. I guess Donald Trump has had some kind of impact because before this year – I never saw any mention of Christmas on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, or whatever the hell else is out there. Again, I don’t watch these craptastic news stations. They only broadcast the news their owners want you to learn about.

So, back to the original story… There’s a big push to keep illegal immigrants from Mexico out of the United States. In Mexico, about 85% of the people are Roman Catholics. Another 10% follow Christianity of some other sort. The remaining 5% are either listed as following no religion, unspecified, or 0.2% follow an unknown religion. Mexico is one of the most Catholic/Christian nations in the world. Is there some possibility that this whole push to keep Mexicans out of the United States is just another nail in the coffin of America’s Christianity?

I told you I was going to twist your mind – right outta yaw F’n head…
